Installation

Step 1: Download and Extract

cd ~/Downloads
unzip MacMetalMinerProMax-v9.0.zip
cd MacMetalMinerProMax

Step 2: Build the App

./BUILD.command

Step 3: Launch Press Y when prompted to open the app.

If macOS blocks the app:

xattr -cr "MacMetal Miner Pro Max.app"

Then right-click → Open

Getting Started

1. Launch the app from your menu bar (₿ icon)
2. Enter your Gumroad license key
3. Enter your Bitcoin wallet address
4. Select a solo mining pool
5. Click Start Mining

That's it. Your Mac is now mining Bitcoin.
